| PHILADELPHIA -- InfoLogix, Inc., and HealthCast Inc., a provider of enterprise single sign-on and workflow solutions for hospitals, announced a new offering in which InfoLogix will provide HealthCast's eXactACCESS on their wireless mobile pc carts. eXactACCESS is a single sign-on (SSO) with multiple shared workstation solutions designed specifically to improve the speed to access patient information in hospitals.
RoamingSessions(TM) is designed to allow users to roam from workstation to workstation and quickly pickup their desktop session with patients' information right where they left off. "The combination of eXactACCESS's single sign-on workflow solutions and wireless mobile cart computing is a natural fit since carts are exposed to public areas and are often shared by nurses and physicians when visiting patients," said Joan Mehn, HealthCast CEO. "When a user is called away, eXactACCESS auto-launches its Privacy Shield to isolate the user's session and prevent others from viewing patient information. A returning user authenticates to resume working exactly where they left off, and they can also 'roam' to other workstations to pick up their unique session." "Adding eXactACCESS to our mobile wireless solution reduces the risk of breaching HIPAA regulations, while improving the speed that clinicians access their patient's information," said David Gulian, president of InfoLogix. "We have called it our 'HIPAA cart' because of the value it brings to hospitals struggling to meet HIPAA regulations while providing fast access to patient information." www.infologixsys.com www.gohealthcast.com. |
